Just noticed that I have not posted on Thinking-It-Over since November 2010 and my facebook presence is not far behind. Not that there have not been many ideas, situations and life changes that I have not had to think over.
Life is changing within me and around me and the changes are becoming an integral part of defining who I am. It is a good thing to keep moving, keep breathing, keep climbing, keep dreaming, keep learning, keep fulfilling the vision that I have been given. It is when I stop doing these things that life's end is near.
My new website will be released sometime this month. Encompassed within it will be an inspirational, multicultural romance book which I will released, chapter by chapter, each month. My hopes of seeing my first official book published by a publisher and released in England is becoming more and more a reality. My editor and I are working on the book and I believe I have got the best editor in the world. Yes, you heard it right. This nappy headed girl, who still wears her braids proudly and still writes on every piece of paper she can find (but now I use my iPad), has finally stepped out there into the world of writing and journalism and it feels good.
My path has also led me back into my music and it is a pleasure to be singing with talented and creative musicians like Cornelia Masuhr, Cornelia Scholz, Christian Schmitt, Jan Masuhr, Rainer Wahl, Frank Wille Schmidt, Simon Ostheim, Axel Schoene and many more. On Thursday, the 22nd of September, I sang with the Jan Masuhr Band in the Jazz Keller of Glaabsbrau in Seligenstadt. It was great jamming with the musicians and it was wonderful to sing the song "I Feel Good" a tribute to one of the old greats, James Brown, an Augusta Georgia boy that made it out of the Ghetto. It felt good.
Thus, I am moving along on my journey. My nights and days are short. There is never enough time to do those things that I would like to do and I feel good!
Be blessed everyone.
Shalom
