One of the most beautiful things to do is walk up a mountain. I have had the privilege of doing that in Austria and in Italy.
The picture above shows the sky as I walked a narrow path upward in Austria while in Matrei an der Brenner. I felt as if I was walking up to the clouds.
While politicians sit in their playpens, wringing their hands because their political ideologies are not working, a cancer is spreading among us. This pestiferous cluster of cells is eating away at the human race, and politicians are helpless. They can’t help us.
The atrocities keep increasing, and the platitudes spoken by elected officials are no longer sufficient. They can't help us.
WE must face the fact that education is limited when it comes to dealing with situations that demand ingenuity and outside of the box thinking. The theoretical cookbooks of elite universities with their equations and theoretical solutions are useless. They can't help us.
So what do we do now?
Every morning a new trauma presents itself, and we watch death rob us of our young and our old as leaders debate and try to explain why it happened. But they can’t help us!
“What are you going to do, Prophet?” The Child asked.
“Nothing, Child.”
“Why not? Don't you feel the pain, the sorrow? Don’t you see the desperation on people's faces? Don't you hear the wailing?”
“Yes, Child.”
“Then, what are you going to do about it, Prophet?”
I have joined the Skywatch Group so that I can re-awaken my blog Wind, Rain, Winding Roads, & Sunshine, the By-Ways of Life. Posting is done once a week on Fridays, and I hope you will enjoy my thoughts about the photos I take of the Heaven above me as I travel throughout the world. So, the picture is above and below are my thoughts.
Walking up a path that leads to a Gasthaus upon a small mountain in Wiesbaden- Frauenstein, Germany, I noticed how the clouds were forming in the sky. It was revealing. Having been a sky watcher since I was a little child, cloud formations have always spoken to me and so was it on this beautiful day.
As I watched the movement, I saw the child in me, from years ago, observing the Heaven with fascination.
